Product Review: SkinFood Strawberry Mask Wash Off

Packaging: This mask comes in an adorable small tub of 100 grams. I love the packaging, it’s convenient to get enough product and its lightweight. For about $11, I would say you get a reasonably amount of product and a high-quality product. Amazing!

Formula: I’ve heard so much about this product and how it has helped many others with their troublesome acne. I particularly chose this one over the black sugar because of the fragrance and it just stood out to me the most. I can’t with this exfoliator! It’s amazing! Everything about it is so well done. This brand has proven its quality throughout my reviews. As soon as, you apply this exfoliator to the skin, it dissolves so well without being too sticky or causing any damage. The instructions tell us that we need to leave this mask on our faces for about 10-15 minutes. This is when the ingredients will penetrate well into our skin enough to give it that beautiful glow. One important detail is that this exfoliator is one of the gentlest I’ve ever tried. The beads are gentle enough to scrape off your dead skin cells but not scratch your skin to where it’s painful. After the application, you will notice how plumped and soft your skin will feel. I recommend and it’s incredibly important to ONLY exfoliate at most twice a week. Over exfoliating can cause damage to your skin and we don’t want that for you.

Fragrance, Color, and Texture: I CAN’T! The fragrance of this product is incredible I’m amazed Skin Food made it to smell so natural. The strawberry scent is not an artificial smell but as if you were eating an organic strawberry from your local supermarket. The color of this looks like they crushed sweet strawberries and placed it into this adorable little tub. The texture is like an oil which it is said to be strawberry seed oil and the little seeds are wild berry seeds. The seeds act as natural exfoliants so that it doesn’t damage the skin but still gets rid of our dead skin cells.

Overall: I see this product as a 2 in 1 not only does it exfoliate your skin but the strawberry seed oil helps to prevent excess sebum and condition our skin to look soft. It’s honestly one of the best and like I mention this brand has proven its potential to me and I hope it does to all of you too.

Product Review: Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner

Packaging: This great product comes in a baby blue plastic bottle. The bottle I bought has about 250ml/ 8.45 fluid ounces in which has a great amount of product which usually lasts me many months. I know for a fact that they sell a larger bottle for 500ml/16.90 fluid ounces. The bottle cap can be flipped open and you will find a convenient small funnel where the product can be dispersed into a cotton ball or pad.

Formula: I’m very familiar with this product because I’ve been using it for many years now and it has not failed me at all. The 10 in 1 formula helps clean pores thoroughly and tightens them. It makes your skin feel very smooth, clean and hydrated. It’s meant for all skin types so there’s no need to worry about whether it will not be a match for your skin type. I usually apply this product on after I have cleansed my face and/or after I applied my facial mask. Over the years, it has helped me control my oil production and reduced the size and amount of acne. I can’t really find any cons to this formula because it’s that great. I’ve tested it on my siblings to see if it would help their dry skin and it does on the spot!

Fragrance, Color, and Texture: The Pore Freshner almost has no scent to it which is a good thing when it comes to applying an astringent due to the alcohol. The color is transparent like water and the texture resembles water as well, and it sits very comfortable on the skin.

Overall: One of the greatest products that has ever been laid on my skin. I have yet to find another great toner that can also help my skin in multiple ways as this one did. It’s very comfortable and it has this astringent effect that helps minimize the pores.

Product Review: SkinFood Egg White Pore Foam

Packaging: The product comes in a cosmetic tube so it’s easy to take product out of the tube. However, my problem with tubes is that once the product starts finishing it’s difficult to take out the last amounts of product. It’s also kind of small with only 5.1 oz. product but for the price it’s not too bad. It’s so good I wish it would have been double the amount for the price!

Formula: This great product has egg whites as the main ingredient. It is also called albumin and it consists of amino acids. It’s made to regulate sebum, tighten pores, and clean away bacteria from the face. It deep cleanses the skin so much so that it feels like your pores are breathing again and creates soft and supple skin. It makes your skin feel so luxurious and some people have compared it to the LA MER facial cleanser. However, there is a huge gap in price points and the size of the tubes are almost the same. It’s incredible what an $11.00 product can do to the skin. What I did notice the most was that my pores had a blur effect, so in a way it looked as if I had applied primer on my skin. I absolutely love when the products I test reduce enlarged pores. I know that it’s a problem for many of us and we tend to be self-conscious about it and that’s why I usually look for these types of products. It’s for daily use, and it can cleanse your makeup off. What I like to do is remove my makeup with a makeup wipe, and then apply this cleanser to remove the rest of the residue off my skin. It’s great to use it in your morning and night routines as one of your cleansers so you can always have moisturized and silky skin.

Fragrance, Color, and Texture: It has a beautiful and enchanting floral smell. It is white and has a creamy consistency. I was a little confused about the consistency because on the product it says foam and never did it foam up when I applied it as I was expecting. If anything, it created small bubbles but the products’ performance was amazing enough to let this small detail pass.

Overall: HOLY MOLY! It’s such a great product that it shouldn’t be ignored. It’s hard to find a cleanser that has such a low-price point and works like a high-end product. It smells beautiful and it gives your skin a sort of therapy. It a gem and it just might be difficult to replace.

Product Review: Tony Moly Pocket Bunny Moist Mist

Packaging: What can I say? It’s incredibly adorable! The bunny shaped container was really what drove me to buy it. It adds uniqueness to your vanity and really makes it stand out from your other products.  Once you open the container it has a spray nozzle made to provide with a decent amount of mist onto the face. The pocket bunny also contains about 60 milliliters of liquid.

Formula: This formula is made with Berry and Baobab Tree Extracts. It aids with hydrating the skin after a long day or when your skin is a bit dry you can spray this liquid on and you should feel refreshed and renewed. I’m more of a combination skin so my T-zone is what gets the oiliest. I still apply it on during the day even if I have makeup on. It makes my skin feel in a way relaxed especially when you’re going through stress in your daily life and your skin is dealing with it too.

Fragrance, Color, and Texture: The fragrance that this formula has is a faint fruity smell. In a way, its aroma is a faint peach type of smell. As for the color and texture, it’s similar to that of water. When it’s on the skin after its dry you feel like it did leave a bit residue behind but it eventually goes away.

Overall: It’s a nice product but it’s not the best. What I didn’t like was the residue feeling however it still does the job of hydrating your skin after a long hot day.
